We had to cancel Megan and Joel’s engagement session two different times because of bad weather. I can count on two hands the number of times I’ve ever canceled a session because of weather. Usually if you just wait it out, it will surprise you, but even on our third try the weather was in the low 50’s in the middle of July, so I was fully geared up for their August wedding at Springhill Pavilion to throw us a crazy storm. The morning rain clouds decided to give them a break, though, and they tied the knot on the sunniest and most beautiful day in Bozeman.
“Not only was Susan super accommodating and understanding in rescheduling our engagement photos when the weather didn’t cooperate, but she took the time to get to know Joel and I as people and as a couple and things that we really value.
“The whole process of working with Susan leading up to the wedding was awesome. She made suggestions about the layout of the venue, explained how photos would work and even helped provide timeline suggestions that would work with what we needed. Susan also went above and beyond working with our vendors the day of our wedding to make sure we stayed on a reasonable timeline and helped keep the event flowing properly.
” Susan is far and away the best possible photographer we could have found for our special day! She spent our entire wedding day with us, capturing the whole day, and made sure to incorporate things we said were special to us. The photos are real, beautiful and will be cherished longer than our lifetime.
“I was impressed with her photos, but knew I found our photographer when I met her in person at a Bridal Event. She was personable and approachable and genuinely interested in our story and us. After a short discussion, we had one of our most important vendor spots filled – an awesome photographer!
“The photos Susan took are amazing, priceless and make me smile every day as I click through them (because I still do that each day). Susan will exceed your expectations and give you the best photos imaginable!”
Thank you for your kind words, Megan! xo
