Love and goodness is contagious. That’s probably why I smother my husband with kisses when I get back from a wedding. I can remember coming home from this wedding in particular and smiling uncontrollably. When I’m surrounded by love and goodness for an entire day, I can’t help but pass it on. I hope you feel it in the pictures below, and if you feel so inclined, I hope you pass it on as well.
This was a special wedding. Two incredibly kind and grounded individuals joining forces with a ceremony preformed by the bride’s father in the backyard of the groom’s parents. Some of my favorite moments: Father of the bride fist bumping his daughter after signing the marriage license, the hugs and hand holds all day long from sister and mother of the bride, the warmth of the parents of the groom in welcoming everyone to their home, the row of ducks swimming by during the ceremony, barely visible through the smoke, a daughter’s embrace as the mother of the bride watched her husband dance with their newly married daughter, and the powerful speech made by the father of the bride about how much he admired his new son-in-law.
