An August Wedding: Kelsey & Justin. McCune Mansion.

In case you can’t tell, Kelsey and Justin’s wedding at McCune Mansion was a blast. Kelsey is very detail-oriented and planned the night’s events perfectly. The transition from one event to the next was flawless. She did a great job of prioritizing the wedding day expenses, making the night perfect for the two of them. Their ceremony was definitely one of the best I’ve heard this year – full of playful inside jokes that so perfectly reflected who they are. The reception was fitting for all personality types – music and dancing in one room, conversation spaces in another. McCune Mansion is a great venue. Thanks for having me out, Kelsey and Justin! It was quite the event!

Kelsey and Justin donated to the Zambia Library Project. Thanks for loving the world!

Kaytlynn & Hayden Engagements. Downtown SLC.

I had a blast with these two. They’re so much fun together – all laughs and smiles. There is no better job in the world than hanging out with people who are so good to each other and show it. Thanks for having me along, Kaytlynn and Hayden!

Cash Newborns. Riverton, Utah.

More money fewer problems – can’t get enough of Cash. I was lucky enough to photograph his parents’ wedding right after I got home from Moldova, and I’m so happy they asked me to photograph their first born. He’s as sweet as they come.

A July Wedding: Bree & Nate. Ivy House.

Bree and Nate are such a fun couple. It’s all laughs and smiles with them – such good energy and chemistry. Bree is a graphic designer and had some great ideas for her wedding that turned out perfectly. And I must say, I think The Ivy House is Salt Lake City’s best kept secret. You don’t hear of many couples holding their receptions there, but why not? It’s perfect – high ceilings, simple contemporary decor, set up with a great flow, and a spiral staircase to throw your bouquet from… awesome. I had so much fun with these two and their warm, genuine families. Thanks for having me out!

A July Wedding: Lauren & Nate. Louland Falls.

Lauren and Nate chose the lovely Louland Falls to seal the deal, and it couldn’t have been more perfect for them. The pastel tones complimented their wedding attire and their gorgeous flowers nicely. And for the evening reception, Michelangelo’s Ristorante set a romantic mood with low lights, delicate hors d’oeuvres, wine and micro beers, and lighted patio seating. Lauren and Nate gave full reign to the professionals they hired which is something I highly recommend. It’s always good to have ideas, but being set with the “look” you’re going for can limit the potential others see for you and your event. Their wedding day was so much fun. These two are so great for each other, and I’m so happy to call them my friends.

Lauren and Nate donated to the Pelotonia Project which is a cycling fundraising program where riders raise money for cancer research. Thanks for loving the world and humanity!
